May 4th Board Meeting Postponed
At 6:21PM the office sent out an email that tonight's board meeting (scheduled to start at 6:30PM) was canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances". Seriously? The board of directors meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM. That would have been tonight, May 4, 2021. What could possibly cause the cancellation of a Zoom board meeting? People don't even have to leave their homes, so there was no traffic or bad weather with which to contend. Was one member not going to make it? That would leave five; still a quorum. It should leave six, but the board has not yet filled the vacancy left by the death of the Treasurer. Did they really not know until ten minutes before the start of the meeting? Did the board plan to discuss its decision to post a message on the website after the protests in the Lakes of Barony Place on April 14? The unforeseen circumstances? Did the power go out at the home of the HOA office manager and she couldn't start the Zoom meeting? Why wa
