Do Voting Members Really Care about Homeowners?
A Voting Member is the legal representative of the homeowners in his/her neighborhood.
How many (few) of them really care about those homeowners?
If they did care, they would be demanding answers from the Board of Directors and informing the homeowners in their neighborhoods of answers to the following questions:
Q. Why haven't Minutes been posted for Board Meetings on March 3, April 7, May 5, and when they will be posted for the June 2 Board Meeting?
Q. Why haven't Financial Operating Results been posted for September, October, November, December 2025 and for January, February, March, April, and May 2026?
Q. What is a realistic estimate for repairs to the Indigo Lake dam? Is the money available?
Q. Why hasn't the Board provided details of the $126,352 Annuity purchased in 2024 as an "investment" of Reserve funds and how a CD got cashed in without a recorded Board vote?
Q. Why hasn't the Board revealed how much money was wasted suing Gus Philpott (me) illegally in the name of the Association, in violation of the CC&Rs, and without Board approval of the litigation? And what efforts are being made to recover the illegally-disbursed funds?
Q. Why has the Board stopped releasing the monthly report of the number and type of violation letters being sent out by the office? The 2026 Proposed Budget lists $70,000 as the estimated income from Fines - Violations (Line 4600).
Q. Why hasn't the 2026 Approved Budget been posted on the HOA's website? Was the 2026 Proposed Budget ever approved by the Board? If it was, on what date? And why isn't it reported in the Minutes of a Board Meeting?
Q. What progress is being made collecting past-due Assessments and Fines? What is the new Collection Policy? It was mentioned at the May Board Meeting, but no details were provided.
Q. Why aren't the waterfalls at the Clemson Road entrance to The Summit operating?
Q. How bad is the financial condition of the Association?
The Board of Directors can alleviate concerns over any of these questions by simply answering them.
