Big Change in Committee Listings

As I recall, someone asked at the Board Meeting last Tuesday (March 3) about when Committee listings* on the HOA's website would be updated.

They have been. Sort of.

If you look at the Committees now, you will see that only chairpersons are listed. No members of committees are listed

And the all-important Nominating Committee is not even listed!

Why not?

Will this make it easier for committee chairpersons or board members to order people onto or off committees and no one will know the difference?

Last week a long-time member of the Covenants Committee was tossed. Prior to that other Covenants Committee members were tossed. And Finance Committee members were tossed.

Late last year the Nominating Committee was re-shuffled, removing long-time members and creating a committee that was responsive to the board majority. That showed up in the slate of nominees, which was rejected by the Voting Members.

Three good-quality applicants, who were bypassed by the Committee, ended up being elected by write-in votes! Voting Members rejected all but one of the Nominating Committee's recommendations.

Members of Committees have been listed for years. Why change that now?
