No Treasurer's Report
How many months (years?) has it been since a Board Treasurer gave a financial report at a monthly Board Meeting?
It seems that now all the Treasurer does is make motions to spend money.
The Treasurer is the chairperson of the Finance Committee. Her motions to spend money are part of the Finance Committee's report. That's the wrong place for the Motions.
Members should receive an accurate and timely report every month on the financial status of the HOA. Has that ever happened?
Back in 2023 the Treasurer's report was, "Everything is in good shape." It wasn't, but no one questioned the report. Reserve fund contributions were budgeted but declining. In 2020 the contribution (Line 8000) was supposed to be $163,965. In 2024 the contribution was $0.00. In 2025 the contribution was $3,000. For 2026 the contribution is supposed to be $91,081. Will that amount actually reach Reserves?
Last year (2025) monthly financial reports (by CAMS) included "Variances". Those were over-spending, shown for about a dozen categories. The Total for monthly variances was never shown. It was interesting that variance for Legal Fees was not reported.
Current monthly financial statements no longer show a separate listing for Variances.
Monthly financial statements have not been published on the HOA's website since August 2025.
