Is this bullying? or threatening?
I have lived in The Summit since January 2018 and have been studying the By-Laws since shortly after moving in. It often takes multiple readings to find information on the same topics, because it is scattered throughout the document.
I have spotted what I believe to be many instances of non-compliance with the Governing Documents by the board, and I have emailed them about their errors.
Lately I have been accused by 2-3 members of the board that I have bullied or threatened them.
Seriously?
Are their feelings so thin that they cannot accept constructive criticism?
I am a resident, not a homeowner. I know that I have no legal standing to complain about how they are doing things. They have repeatedly told me that they don't have to listen to me or do anything I say. They are right.
One response would be for them to thank me and investigate whether there is something to fix. They don't even thank me. That's okay. I don't do this for thanks. Another response is to stick their heads in the sand and play ostrich.
That response is generally not a good idea for a business that is a non-profit corporation.
Stay tuned.
