ATTN. Barony Place Homeowners
The term of your Neighborhood Committee members, including the Voting Member, expires on May 4, 2025. That's less than one month from now.
Barony Place has the only legitimate Voting Member in the 28 Neighborhoods of The Summit's HOA.
Preserve this valuable position by scheduling the 2025 Neighborhood Meeting now. Barony Place (I & II) has 78 homes, and a quorum is 26. Twenty-six properties (homes) must be present at the Meeting, in-person or by proxy.
The 2024 Neighborhood Committee is Della Glynn, Gwen Hayes, and Tracy Manderino, Voting Member.
Contact them now and offer to help make the Neighborhood Meeting happen. "Many hands make light work."
This year Voting Members may be asked to approve amendments to the CC&Rs and the By-Laws. They cannot do so.
Voting Members may be asked to approve a dues increase greater than 10%. They cannot do so.
Voting Members should have been asked to approve the lawsuit against Gus Philpott. But they weren't.
Voting Members will also be expected to vote for four directors in November. They cannot do so.
They cannot do any of these things, because 27 Neighborhoods do not have a legitimate Voting Member.
Every neighborhood should have a legitimate Voting Member, which is one who is duly-elected in compliance with the By-Laws.
The sole legitimate Voting Member should go directly to the HOA's attorney and complain that the Board of Directors is failing to comply with the CC&Rs, the By-Laws, and the PRM. Maybe he will listen to her!
