How Much Do You Trust the BOD?

The Board of Directors (BOD) operates the HOA on your behalf.
Do you attend Board Meetings?
Have you observed the manner in which Board Meetings are conducted?
Do all the Board members participate fully and equally in discussions?
Do you believe the Board has integrity?
Are HOA operations transparent?
Does the Board inform Members of how many times they meet in a month and what they discuss in those other meetings?
What decisions are made in those other meetings that are outside your view?
Is the Board receptive to questions from Members, and are questions answered?
What happens after a Member asks a question at a Board meeting? Do you ever get an answer?
When the Treasurer makes many motions to approve new, unbudgeted expenses, does he (or did she) explain where that money will come from?
Are you aware that the budgeted (required) Contribution to Reserves dropped from $163,965 (2020) to $0 (2024) and is only $3,000 in 2025?
Do you believe that a $50 increase (9.8%) in Assessment on January 1, 2026 will be sufficient to restore the financial strength of the HOA?
