Call the office on Sept. 27

Call the HOA's office on Friday, September 27, and ask why it was closed on Thursday. The phone number is (803) 865-0609  If you prefer to email, email the office at hoa@summithomeowners.com

The email to many (but not all) Association members from the on-site property manager could have included the reason but did not.

I would call the office and then inform you, but I don't want the HOA or its attorney to accuse me again of harassing the office employees.

Culver's Fans! Coming to Clemson Road

Culver's is coming to Columbia. The first Columbia-area restaurant is being built at 2744 Clemson Road. That's the northwest corner of Clemson Road and Longtown Road, right in front of Lexington Medical Center. Culver's has been one of my favorites since 1996 in Woodstock, Ill. Watch for opening. Mess-up with December 2nd Board Meeting

The December Board Meeting will be held tonight at 6:30PM in the HOA's office at 305 Ridge Trail Drive. Due to very limited space, tonight's meeting attendance will be limited to Board members and Voting Members. The Minutes of the November 18th Board Meeting have not been published yet, but apparently there was an attempt by some of the directors to change the Board Meeting frequency from monthly to not-less-than-quarterly. This is yet another reason why officers should have been elected at the first board meeting following the Annual Meeting of Voting Members, which was the Board Meeting on November 18th. This meeting-night mess would not have happened. It's hard enough to Members (homeowners) to know what is really going on with their HOA.
