How Many Voting Members Are There?

The Summit's HOA has 28 Neighborhoods. You can see the list on the HOA's website: www.summithomeowners.com  Hover over RESIDENTS; click on VOTING MEMBERS

You'll see the names of all 28 Neighborhoods.

How many neighborhoods have a legitimate, duly-elected Voting Member? Do you know? Put your guess in the Comment box below. You won't be able to tell from the list.

Why do I harp on the "legitimateduly-elected" adjectives? Because the Voting Members can obligate you to increased dues, amendments to the CC&Rs and By-Laws, prevent the HOA from starting unauthorized lawsuits*, and other matters that affect you and cost you money.

This is why your Neighborhood is required to elect your Voting Member. Any method other than electing the Voting Member doesn't meet the requirement in the By-Laws.

Do you know the date of your last Neighborhood Meeting?

* More on this soon.
