Should HOA broadcast Board Meetings?

Would Members (homeowners) of the HOA like to view monthly Board meetings online from their homes or offices?

The upside is that more Members might view meetings and hope to learn more about the operations of the HOA.

The downside is that more Members might see the chaos of a monthly meeting.

During the COVID lockdown Board meetings were on Zoom. One-two years ago a Voting Member suggested that monthly meetings be Zoomed. That is very easy to do. They could be archived for later viewing.

Although he suggested it, nothing happened. It was like the words had never been spoken.

A suggestion from one Voting Member or one homeowner falls on deaf ears.  It shouldn't, but it does.

The President could have assigned the idea to a Board member or the Property Manager and told them to explore it and come back with a recommendation.

A Board member could have taken up the idea and developed it, and then presented it to the Board. That didn't happen.

And yet somebody came up with the idea for a chain-and-post fence at Birch Park (dumb idea of the year), and VoilĂ ! Next thing you know, hundreds of dollars have been spent to keep a few cars off the grass near the curb.

All it would take is a video-camera with an internet  connection. And use of the microphone that lies on the board table in front of the president, like a sleeping snake. Oh, and it would help to have some decorum on the board, so that everybody didn't talk at once.
