HOA should own its own Zoom account

The HOA should own its own Zoom account and not use the CAMS account.

Doing so would preserve recordings of Zoom meetings, and a way could be figured out for Members to watch them at other times. Or watch them again.

If we were a small HOA, say 25 houses, I could see using a borrowed account. But with 2,480 homes, the HOA should have its own account.

Those operating the controls could become completely familiar with them. The chaos that erupted with Jesse McClinton, Dennis Rybicki, and Mike Bryant could be avoided.

The original announcement indicated all participants would be muted. As soon as it was announced that board members would not be muted, I knew the meeting was headed for trouble. Justin should have quickly indicated to Angela to mute everybody and cut off the disrespect of so many people talking at the same time.

When someone wanted to speak, he should have raised his (electronic) hand. When Justin recognized him, Angela could unmute hi mor tell him to umute himself. After he made his comment, she could have muted him.

That type of organization seems to exceed the skill level of those managing Zoom meetings.

Do you agree? Email the board members and let them know.
