Trespass Warning from Church to Summit Residents
On September 19, 2025, the Brookland Baptist Church Northeast issued a letter containing a Trespass Warning to four Summit residents. They were warned not to enter Church property or attend any meeting on the premises of the Church.
The Church sent its letter to Danny (not to any of the four residents). Danny waited two weeks and then mailed the Church's letter with his own letter on October 3rd, just in time to be delivered before the October 7th Board meeting.
How did that come about?
Board President Danny Trapp had sent a letter to the Church that it received on September 15. What did Danny's letter say?
Did the HOA's Board of Directors (BOD) approve that action? Did the BOD authorize Danny to send that letter?
Two of those restricted from entering Church property are Voting Members. One is almost a Voting Member. None of the three attended the October 7th Board Meeting. All would have, but the Church's letter, legitimate or not, scared them off. Three neighborhoods were harmed
I am the fourth who was mentioned by name in the Church's letter. I have not attended a HOA Board Meeting at the Church since February 4, 2025!
If Danny Trapp did not have the approval and authorization of the BOD to write to the Church as Board President, what should the consequences for him be?
Danny has four friendlies on the Board who are not likely to criticize him. Three of them (Pollin, Hill, and Weatherbee) were not duly-appointed to the Board and are not legitimate Board Members.
I suspect Danny has never asked the HOA's attorneys if many of his actions are illegitimate. If he did ask, they would tell him that many of his actions are NOT legitimate. If they did tell him that, would he report that to the full Board of Directors?
Ya think?
