No Voting Members at BOD Applicant Interviews
Why didn't any Voting Members show up yesterday, when the Nominating Committee met to interview applicants for the Board?
As I wrote just three days ago, "Voting Members are encouraged to attend the interview session." This is stated in the Procedures Reference Manual (PRM) (Art. III, §H, ¶8).
Did the Board Vice-President and Nominating Committee chairperson, Tanisha Holmes, tell Voting Members that they could not attend?
On what authority would she say that? The PRM was approved by the Board. That's the way it is. The Nominating Committee chairperson has no authority to change that unilaterally or to disregard it.
Did Tanisha ask Danny Trapp about his "personal agenda" as an applicant?
Will the Nominating Committee take into consideration that he filed a lawsuit in the name of the Association without the approval of the BOD, costing the HOA thousands of dollars in legal fees?
Will the Nominating Committee take into consideration that that lawsuit is prohibited in the CC&Rs (Art. XIII, §10)?
Will the Nominating Committee take into consideration that Danny appointed three people (Pollin, Hill, Weatherbee) to the Board improperly? One (Pollin) wasn't even eligible to be appointed. Two (Hill and Weatherbee) were improperly appointed in what was called an "executive session".
That July 1st "executive session" didn't even come close to meeting the requirements for an Executive Session.
Did Tanisha ask Danny yesterday, "If re-elected, are you willing to comply with the CC&Rs? the By-Laws? the PRM?"
