Will the HOA Election Be Fair or Fraudulent?

There is a lot in the news right now about election fraud.

Is it possible there could be election fraud right here in The Summit on November 12?

Should three new directors be elected by people who are not entitled to vote?

Each of the 28 Neighborhoods in The Summit's HOA is supposed to have a legitimate representative, called the Voting Member.

Upon information and belief, right now (today) there is only one Neighborhood that has a legitimate Voting Member. On May 4, 2024 Barony Place held a Neighborhood Meeting, elected a three-member Neighborhood Committee, and selected a Voting Member to serve for the next 12 months.

There are others who call themselves "Voting Members", but they were not duly-elected in compliance with the By-Laws. There is one way, and one way only, to become a Voting Member. And it's not by "getting signatures".

The HOA cannot convene the Annual Meeting of Voting Members without a quorum, which is probably 15 [legitimate] Voting Members. The Meeting on November 12 should be adjourned without an election and re-scheduled, if there is not a quorum.

Is there a legal consequence or penalty for holding an illegitimate election?

Comments, anyone? Are you willing to tolerate election fraud right here on your doorstep?
