Posted Tonight on NextDoor
When I attempted to use NextDoor tonight, I found that my account was temporarily suspended - again. NextDoor had not notified me.
I have written to them to ask the reason. I know what it was. Somebody's woke feelings got hurt. I can guess who it was, although NextDoor won't tell me. An archnemesis who is passive-aggressive; that person is unable to argue/discuss intelligently.
I'll probably end up in NextDoor Jail again because I posted this tonight.
Summit HOA.
Is the HOA about to conduct a fraudulent election of directors on November 12? There will not be a sufficient number of eligible, legitimate "Voting Members" to make a quorum at the Annual Meeting of Voting Members. There is only one legitimate VM at this time; 15 are needed.
If there is no quorum of legitimate VMs, the Meeting must be adjourned and no election can be conducted.
If the Board asks the HOA's attorney, that is exactly what he will tell them.
State law requires a South Carolina non-profit corporation to have a [legal] Board of Directors. The Summit's HOA does not.
Join me in persuading them to comply with the By-Laws. I need your help. Attend the Board meeting on Nov. 12, 6:30PM, and ask them if they conducted a legal election.
Four neighborhoods (20% of the HOA) have no representation at all.
The S.C. AG says it's a civil issue and will not get involved. A lawsuit in Circuit Court is needed. That shouldn't be necessary, should it?
