What time will Voting Members meet?

At what time on Tuesday, November 12, will Voting Members meet to elect three directors of the HOA?

Why do I ask?

One Alternate was told 6:00PM. I think he'll miss much of the meeting. Can you imagine any way that the Meeting can be held in 25 minutes? (The monthly board meeting is to start at 6:30PM.)

What must happen when the Voting Member meeting begins?

First, the HOA President should call the meeting to order and introduce himself and the Secretary of the HOA. No other board members should be attending. The Nominating Committee Chair does not run the meeting.

Then the Secretary should call the roll of the 28 Neighborhoods and ascertain that each Voting Member or Alternate is duly-elected by his Neighborhood and is eligible* to attend and vote. Only one representative from each neighborhood should attend.

Once the roll has been called and verified, the Secretary announces whether a quorum is present. 

I can tell you the answer to that right now. A quorum is 15 (51% of 28). The HOA has one (1) legitimate Voting Member. How will they ever get to 15 by November 12?

After the voting procedure is described, the seven Nominees have two minutes each to "sell" the Voting Members. NOTE: There were eight applicants. The Nominating Committee approved seven. One has withdrawn. The Board should explain, in public, how one applicant got added, after the Nominating Committee completed its work.

Then the Voting Members (assuming there is a quorum) vote, and the votes get counted. The top three vote-getters should be identified in writing, so that no mistake is made during the board meeting when the winners are announced.

Will the Voting Members discuss any conduct of the board members or the Association? The Voting Members represent you, the homeowners (Members), and have the authority to elect or remove directors.
