Board Should Delay Mailing Jan. Dues Notices
Because of the faulty Budget approval process, the HOA should delay mailing the January dues notices.
The publication of the 2025 Budget clearly reveals the need for a dues increase.
Two new directors were elected and seated on November 12. They voted to approve the 2025 Budget. When did they examine it and study it in enough detail to approve it.
Did they know that a dues increase had been recommended to the prior Board and that it had been denied. If they had known that, would they have asked questions about it.
One of the two was elected as the Treasurer of the HOA three days later. That election of officers should have taken place on November 12 as the first order of business when the meeting began.
I have just been through the 2025 Budget one time. I'm not even an accountant, and I have found many questionable entries. I'll be discussing more of them here in few days.
