New Role Model in Arizona
Anne Munoz is my new role model.
She was sued recently. She said, "When you come after me wrongfully, I'm going to make as much noise as possible, and that's what I've done. I'm not backing down."
12News in Phoenix said Munoz "worked tirelessly to understand the case against her, [sic] and to get the case dismissed."
Munoz said, "I'm not an attorney, but I can read. I can do research, you know?"
Munoz' case was different than the one against me. But the principles are similar.
I am absolutely confident that the HOA's case against me will be dismissed or found to be without merit. The HOA is going to spend a lot of your money chasing a ghost. They've already spent more than they should have.
The HOA won't spend money to fix the waterfalls or the lights on Summit Parkway. Or the landscaping in Barony Place II and elsewhere in The Summit. The HOA over-spent 11 Line Items in the 2024 Budget by more than $100,000 and never spoke about it at a monthly, open board meeting.
The HOA is acting like the Federal Government, except it can't print money. You've probably heard people say, "I can't be out of money; I still have some checks left."
Be sure to pick up a copy of the Financial Overview Report off the back table at the February 4th board meeting. It should contain the December 31st financials. If you want some help understanding them, get in touch.
