Are You Poorly Represented?

If you are a homeowner in The Summit and if you feel you are poorly represented before the Board, what should you do about it?

First of all, you aren't poorly represented. If you don't live in Barony Place, you aren't represented at all.

If your neighborhood hasn't had a Neighborhood Meeting in the past year or so, then you don't have a legitimate, duly-elected Voting Member, and you aren't represented at all!

What can you do? What should you do?

Call a Neighborhood Meeting. Elect a three-member Neighborhood Committee. Elect a Voting Member. File the paperwork with the office.

There is only one way to become a Voting Member. It's spelled out in the By-Laws. See Art. V, §3.

A Voting Member should not be a Yes-man for the Board of Directors. Voting Members should take their responsibilities and duties seriously and hold board members accountable. This has not happened for many years!
