When a Board Term ends, how does the HOA express its appreciation to those who are leaving the Board?

Are there thanks and a round of applause?

Does the person whose term ended even stick around for the Board Meeting?

Are the thanks half-hearted?

Are there even any thanks at all?

Is there a great sigh of relief?
