$125/hour for labor? Seriously?

Why would the Summit's HOA ever agree to pay CAMS $125.00/hour for "services like document production"?

Apparently, that provision is in the two-year CAMS contract that the HOA signed in 2021.

Does that create a terrific "profit center" for CAMS, at the expense of the HOA and the 2,480 Members? If CAMS can pay a HOA office employee $17.00/hour and bill out her time at $125.00, all I can say is, "WOW?" What kind of sucker would ever sign a contract like that? Check who signed the contract for the HOA!

I have been trying to examine both the 2022 Annual Audit and the Resolution of 8/22/2023, by which the Board thinks it can shut homeowners out of monthly meetings.

I hold the legal authority to make these requests. But I am not going to pay $125.00/hour (in quarter-hour increments) for a $17.00/hour employee to stand at the copy machine. And I am not going to pay $15.00/document, instead of $0.10 for a one-page Resolution.

I "might" pay 1/4 of $17.00, which is $4.25 + $0.10, for the Resolution.

The President of the HOA is spending a lot of your money on legal fees, hoping to squeeze $125.00/hour for up-to-two-hours out of me for the 2022 Annual Audit. I have never asked for a copy of it; I want to examine it at the office.

It's way past time for a new President of the HOA. The Voting Members should remove him. Barring that, they should refuse to re-elect him in November.
