HOA's Nominating Committee
There will be an election of Directors for the HOA's Board on November 14, 2023. The HOA has a Nominating Committee.
Want to run for the Board? Contact the office ASAP for the procedure to follow.
The Mission of the Nominating Committee is to provide "quality candidates to hold office on the Board. Candidates will be of the highest caliber, selected for interpersonal skills, dedication to the betterment of our Association and community, and free of any personal agenda."
The terms of Justin Martin, Mary Ann Game, Greg Thomas, and Brenda Bryant end on November 14, 2023, and four Directors are to be elected by the Voting Members.
According to the HOA's website, the members of the Nominating Committee are Mary Ann Game, Chair, Vernell Butler, Michael Bryant, Auby Dellinger, James Glenn, Jeff Lummel, and Kristie O'Brian.
For the November 2023 Mary Ann Game cannot serve on the Nominating Committee, if she will be a candidate for re-election.
Mary Ann Game is no longer listed as the Chair of the Nominating Committee in the September Summit Scoop, but she is still listed as Chair of that committee on the HOA's website.
Will the Board remove her name from the Committee on the HOA's website?
Will the Nominating Committee follow its Mission as it selects nominees?
If it considers Justin's decision to ban Homeowners from monthly Open board meetings, it will not put Justin on the slate for re-election.
And the Committee will not put anyone on the slate who supported Justin and voted on about August 22, 2023 to ban you, the Homeowners, from monthly meetings. And it should not slate any Director who approved the last-minute change in the location of the September 8th Open monthly board meeting from the church to Zoom.
Can the Nominating Committee find four new homeowners to run for the Board who are
"quality candidates to hold office on the Board. Candidates will be of the highest caliber, selected for interpersonal skills, dedication to the betterment of our Association and community, and free of any personal agenda"?
