Open Letter about September Minutes

The following email has been sent to the board and the property manager.


Board Members,

I urge you to read the September 2023 Minutes carefully and to correct them at the October 7th board meeting before the Minutes are approved.

Read the report of the Safety Committee carefully. Does it make sense to you? 
What is "cause an affect" mean? 
What does "Crime has gone done" mean? 
What does "a notion was made" mean? 
There is no such thing as a "signal 30" contract. The Special Duty Agreement was not "not renewed"; it was canceled. 
What does "notion was made to not open the pool" mean? 
What is a "notion"?

Who wrote "notion"? Did that come from the Committee or the person who prepared the Minutes?

What is that nonsense in the Finance Committee's report? Did the Treasurer write that? 
"vetted to the board"? 
"catastrophic cap?" 
"semi-balanced budget"? 
"Employee salaries and employee insurance"? The HOA has no employees. 
Was that Report being sold by the pound?

"Nomination"? The committee is the Nominating Committee. 
Did the person who wrote that ever hear of punctuation? 
And capitalization? 
Why did the author spell Mary Ann in one place and Mary Anne in another?
"there will face to face this"? Who wrote that??? Is that person stupid or just ignorant?

The SCA is a nonprofit corporation with $2,000,000 in banks and a $1¼ million budget. It should have smart people on the board and in management.

Remove the lies from final paragraph where some unknown person wrote about "disruption" at the August meeting and concerns about safety. Did Justin write that? There were no concerns about safety at the August meeting (unless they happened after Ann and I left) or in regard to the Sept. 5th meeting. 
Ask Justin to produce the "message that was sent". 

If there had been genuine concerns about safety at the Sept. 5th meeting, you would have provided deputies at the church to protect those who arrived, while you hid in a Zoom meeting. When 12 homeowners arrived peacefully at the church, there was only an vacant room set up for the HOA meeting. No board. No law-enforcement. The church's employee was unaware that you weren't coming! I hope you paid the church for your uncanceled reservation of the meeting room.

The statement in the Attachment should be attributed. Who said or wrote that? The Minutes are written by a recording secretary (Teresa? Angela?) When somebody's opinion or statement is inserted in the Minutes, that person's name should be included.
