Food for Thought - 1

Yesterday I posted some HOA questions on Next Door.

This was one response:

"The CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions) and By-Laws are the governing legal documents of an HOA. If someone does not meet the qualifications stated in those documents, they are not legally or ethically eligible to serve on the Board.

"Verify the qualification standards clearly outlined in the CC&Rs and By-Laws (e.g., ownership requirements, financial standing, residency, etc.)."

Many thanks to Paula Hampton, who lives at Villages at Lakeshore, for a clear, accurate, well-worded answer.

Is there any part of this answer with which The Summit's Board of Directors would not agree?
