Food for Thought - 2

Two days ago I posted some HOA questions on Next Door.

This was one response:

"Other Board members are legally obligated to uphold the governing documents. If they knowingly allow an unqualified person to serve, they may also be in breach of fiduciary duty — opening themselves and the HOA to liability.

"Voting Members act on behalf of homeowners and must ensure fair representation and compliance with the governing rules. If they allow unqualified individuals to serve, they’re failing to fulfill their oversight role."

Many thanks to Paula Hampton, who lives at Villages at Lakeshore, for a clear, accurate, well-worded answer.

Is there any part of this answer with which The Summit's Board of Directors would not agree?
