Past Financials, Minutes - now Posted
Several reports have now been posted to the HOA's website. These were past-due and, thanks (probably) to a homeowner who emailed the office over the week-end, these reports are now posted for all to see.
- May 2025 Minutes
- February 2025 Financial Operating Results
- March 2025 Financial Operating Results
- April 2025 Financial Operating Results
The homeowner, a member of the new unofficial HOA Facebook group, posted that she had emailed the office and had asked for these reports to be posted. Be sure to send an email to the office thanking them for (finally) posting this valuable information (hoa@summithomeowners.com).
Find these reports by going to https://summithomeowners.com Hover over RESIDENTS, and then click on DOCUMENTS.
In the report of the Finance Committee in the May Minutes, the unnamed recording secretary mentioned a "... contract already signed by Danny Trapp and LaToya Adams..." Contracts are supposed to be approved before being signed, and the Secretary should be the second signer, not the Treasurer.
The Neighborhood Committee (of the HOA) reported that four neighborhoods still need (Neighborhood) Representatives (and Voting Members). Is Reginald Mack doing anything to help those neighborhoods (Autumn Glen, Indigo Springs, Pineclave, and Waverly Place) hold Neighborhood Meetings and comply with the By-Laws? Mack reported that the Autumn Hill Voting Member (Sarah Wilson) is stepping down. So that's five (5) neighborhoods that need a legitimate Voting Member! Twenty-five percent (25.6%) of homeowners (634/2480) will not be represented at all.
This just about eliminates any possibility of amending the CC&Rs and By-Laws, because Voting Members representing seventy-five (75%) percent of the homeowners must approve the changes. Most of the other "Voting Members" are not duly-elected and are not legitimate.
Under New Business in the May Minutes:
"Requesting Post [sic] to put up at Willow Park like the ones at Birch."
What does that sentence mean??? Like the long line of posts chained together along Rolling Knoll Drive and Knoll Ridge Drive? What a waste of money!!!
"Ad hock [sic] Committee has been formed for the Welcome Packet."
"A new management company for Summit HOA is still being looking [sic] into."
Minutes of Board Meetings are presumably distributed to Board members to review before being published. Do they really read them?
