This blog has far outgrown the Barony Place Neighborhood.

This blog addresses the errors and the missteps that the Board of Directors is making. Some of these are very expensive.

Most of the homeowners in the HOA are not represented by legitimate, duly-elected Voting Members. I believe that Barony Place (78 homes) has the only duly-elected Voting Member. She represents 3.1% (78/2480) of the HOA.

Almost ninety-seven percent (96.9%) of the homeowners do not have a legitimate Voting Member.

The Board has one person on it who is not eligible to be on the Board. To be on the Board, a person must be a Member (homeowner, named on the Deed) or married to a Member. She was not at the time she was appointed to succeed Greg Thomas, and she is not now. This person must leave the Board immediately or be removed.

The HOA began a lawsuit against Gus Philpott (me) that is prohibited by the CC&Rs.

Right now the Board is violating S.C. Code of Laws Section 33-31-840 by not having a Secretary and Treasurer.

Please contact me if you care about your HOA. Do you want it to end up in receivership?
