Where is the HOA Job Posted?

No announcement was ever made, but the HOA's Assistant Property Manager is no longer employed at the office. Jenn Woodley resigned.

Has anyone seen or heard of a job posting?

CAMS has ads on www.Indeed.com. One is for a HOA Manager-in-Training for $45,-48,000. I laughed at one of Indeed's questions connected to that ad. "Do you have a valid Certified Anti-Money-Laundering Specialist certification?" There is an aspect of HOA management that I had overlooked.

Doesn't CAMS have a roster of candidates for openings? Was there a temporary employee here the next day?

Jenn's departure is a huge loss for the Summit's HOA. I met Jenn in mid-January. We got off to a rocky start, because she "had been told" about me.

I had gone to the office with a dues check and to renew my Summit ID Card. When I asked Jenn if she had seen my blog, she replied, "Oh, I've heard about that." In spite of that, she was friendly and professional. I recognized her quickly as a professional businesswoman with good inter-personal skills.

She was an excellent addition to the office, and the quality of the Minutes of Board meetings quickly improved.

It's too bad there is no one around to conduct a fair Exit interview with her, in which she could be totally honest about her experience as a CAMS employee in The Summit's HOA office, without any fear of retaliation or a bad reference.

Good luck to Jenn, whenever she re-enters the workforce.
